Who we are
Villa Martini Curaçao is a privately owned holiday villa in Vista Royal, Jan Thiel, Curaçao. The owners operate this website and are responsible for the data described here. You can reach us at [email protected].
Booking requests
When you request dates we store your name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), your message, the dates and guests you selected and the price estimate. We use this only to answer your request, prepare your booking and, once confirmed, to host you. We never sell or share your data with advertisers. Our on-island manager receives the details needed to welcome you.
Website statistics
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to see how visitors use the site: pages viewed, language, country, device and whether a request was sent. IP addresses are truncated and we use Google Consent Mode, which means no Google cookies are set before you agree. Independently of that, our own server keeps anonymous daily counts of page views that contain no personal data.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep your session and language and remember your cookie choice; they need no consent. Analytics cookies from Google are only set after you click "Accept analytics". You can change or withdraw your choice below at any time.
How long we keep data
Booking requests are kept for as long as needed to handle your stay and to meet our bookkeeping obligations (7 years for invoices under Dutch law), after which they are deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You may ask us which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Send your request to [email protected] and we will respond within a month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
